Our hand made pure clay, sun dried and kilned replica Jersey bricks are formed from moulds taken from antique Jersey Copps. Our exclusively made bricks are the closest you’ll get to the real thing other than the clay is not local ! Our Jersey brick making heritage which provided for the topping of 100s of miles of local granite walls has given way these days to walls topped with lime or cement, or cement based concrete bricks being far from ecologically sound. An ongoing project where we’ve supplied our exclusively produced fired clay Jersey brick replicas and full and half depth reclaimed European granite cobbles / setts. An excellent job by Gomes and Sons Ltd.

Friday’s 50 tonnes import of European recycled antique granite cobbles. These have been sawn to half depth with the flat base making for ease of laying.
